FUNDACIŌN KAHLO PROUDLY SUPPORTS MUSEO CASA KAHLO: FRIDA KAHLO’S ONLY FAMILY MUSEUM
Fundación Kahlo
Fundación Kahlo is a nonprofit organization based in New York City, conceived and established by the Kahlo family to preserve Frida’s legacy and promote Mexican, Indigenous, and Latin American art and culture on a global scale. The Fundación plays a pivotal role in the development and ongoing stewardship of Museo Casa Kahlo, as well as a slate of new initiatives, including the Kahlo Art Prize and La Ayuda.
A MESSAGE FROM THE CHAIRMAN
“Frida Kahlo belongs to the world, but her story began in a family… Fundación Kahlo for Mexican Art and Culture has been established alongside the Kahlo family to preserve, share, and advance one of the world’s most important cultural legacies. Inspired by Frida Kahlo’s roots, creativity, resilience, authenticity, and courage, we are committed not only to honoring the past, but to investing in the future. Through Museo Casa Kahlo, the Kahlo Art Prize, La Ayuda, cultural programs, educational initiatives, and community outreach, we seek to celebrate Mexican culture, support emerging talent, and build bridges between people, ideas, and generations. We believe culture is a living force. It enriches communities, inspires dialogue, and reminds us of our shared humanity. Our mission is simple: to preserve what matters, champion what is possible, and ensure that future generations continue to find inspiration in the stories, values, and creativity that define Mexico.
Thank you for being part of this journey.”
